To become an Author and fulfill someone's request for materials, follow these steps:
  1. You must be a ranking member to fulfill requests. (If you are not a Sponsor, Contributor, Creator, or Developer click here to learn how to become one.)

  2. Make sure you are logged in to the Utumno website.

  3. From the Utumno home page, click on the Cue Sheet button.

  4. Once in the Cue Sheet section, you need to find a Cue to work on. If you have a specific Cue already in mind and know how to find it, skip to step #5. Otherwise, the best way to find a Cue in your area of expertise is to use the Search feature:
    1. Expand the "Media Type" vine section of the tree view.
      Image
    2. Find the area of your expertise and expand it. ("Graphics" if you're an artist, "Code" if you're a programmer, et cetera.)
      Image
    3. Now that you've selected your area of focus, click on the "Search" logo near the top of the page.
      Image
    4. When the search parameters appear, select the "Cue Status" checkbox then select "Requested". This will narrow the search to only display Cues where other Authors have not started on yet.
    5. Click the bottom-most checkbox as well to narrow the search to just the area of your expertise (from in Step #4.b)

    11. Return to the Downloads section and find the item you just uploaded. Make sure the item was uploaded properly.

Now it's up to the Requestor to review your work, approve the material, and award you the points. Don't be afraid to remind the Requestor that you have submitted your work for review. Be sure to communicate with the Requestor so you are both aware of any hang-ups.
